Sounds like plugging may be fairly common with Cohibas. From the intelligence I have gathered, I recommend that we have a somewhat plugged authentic Cohiba Esplendido here.

I will do my own experiments with heavy fog and its effect on fine cigars. I will report my findings when my work is complete. Of course I'll be forced to smoke a fair amount of cigars both in and out of heavy fog. This could take time and effort, but I'm willing to make the sacrifice.

Looks real in my inexpert amateur opinion. I have some real bands here and a definate phoney I bought on the street in Puerto Vallarta on which the lettering is different. How did it smoke?

You really need to be able to see how the squares match up with the white box the cohiba lettering is in before the 'c' and the 'a'. Also, where the orange and black meets should be clean, and no overlapping.

The Cuban Cohiba has 4 rows of white blocks, not two. Fake.

romeoy --- I'm sure it has them ... just hidden because he didn't lay the band out flat. My Cohiba bands look just like that (looking at it straight on), and they are still on the cigar.

You called it. The lettering and the white area that they are in are covering the the other 2 blocks on the front. The back does have the standard 4 rows.
