Did you notice any spinning?
I would have thought that with all the whining in the media about Iraq, that you would have seen soil flying..

No spinning... I tried to leave a stogie for him but that didn't go off as planned. Churchill's ghost showed up and snagged it. Its really a nice place though. Worth the stop if your in the area.

Spangdahlem, Germany is where I call home right now. At least for the next few months. Then I get to go back to the states for the first time in 3 1/2 years. I can't wait.

Ah, Spang-quentin! LOL! I was there 95-99, first in the 22 then QA. Really enjoyed living in, and touring around, Europe. I could've lived without the insane Ops tempo though. How far have they gotten with the proposed base expansions?

Spang-quentin! Is right... I've had fun here but theres a lot that could be improved. The base expansion program is going well. The plan was to take over the Rhein Main flights. So the runway is almost done being redone. The base is a mess of road construction constantly. Theres a new traffic circle accross from the bowling alley, more towards housing. And a new contractor gate. They closed down the Binsfeld gate so that kind of sucks. But on the pluss side the German Military are running the gates for us now.
