Thanks to ikonoklast7 for recommending Baccarat cigars to suit my tastes, I ordered a sampler and got a Baccarat Panetela, Petit Corona and Luchadores.
I smoked the Panetela tonight and the taste was great (for me anyway), but even with a full cut on the end, it was a hard draw and the outer leaf started to unravel. I had them in my humidor for a couple days since I got them, so I wouldn't figure they'd be dry. Even the outer humidity here is 60%.

So did I do something wrong?
I really did like it and would like to smoke the other 2 Baccarats, but thought maybe someone could shed some light.

Thanks.

The Baccarat Petit Corona is one of the cheapies that I keep around for chores etc. when I'm are busy doing something else and not concentrating on the cigar. The panatela was probably a tight draw just because of the size. I've enever had that problem. If you lioke mild and cheap, Baccarat is for you.

Haven't smoked the petit. Have a hard time getting past the name. 🙂
Right now I am trying out and Excalibur 1066 Merlin.
The Baccarat seems to fit my need for an everyday cigar.
I liked the flavor of the Baccarat, but then again, I have a sweet tooth. 🙂
I have noticed lately though, my tastes have been drifting to other style cigars.
I mainly like the cameroon cigars. I'm keeping an open mind and learning, thanks to all of you folks. 😉

I tried a national brand today which is a part of baccarat and besides for it being sun grown it was pretty bland.
