Just finished an AF Hemingway Signature Maduro...a truely great smoke. As a lover of all High-end AF cigars, this one has to rank right up ther with the rest of them, IMHO. Medium-Full bodied smoke, fair draw, even burn, and with a complex spicy finish which gave me a "nirvana" type sensation...too bad I have to work tonight as this would have been nicely capped with a glass of Merlot.

Any other opinions or similar sensations with you guys or gal out there?

Wow ... emgjet ... I'm envious ...

I have always wanted to try one of those suckers ... and like others are said (since they are not production cigars) ... they are nearly impossible to find.

smithbw --- there is a big difference between the Hemingway Classic Sun-Grown and the Hemingway Signature Maduro ... 😉

The Hemi SG I've had, and there were only 165 boxes released ... and I did get four of those (and gifted out three, BTW)

The Hemi Signature Maduro is not a production cigar (and never has been), and (usually) can only be found at CFCF herfs or Cigar Family sponsered events, usually passed out by Carlito himself to lucky attendees ...

Okay, Sorry to confuse the two...I will try to get you one during the European Show here in September.

I try to pick up a few around Christmas, that's when I've seen them at my tobacconist.

You are correct Robby ... they are a 'Christmas' release ... and I stand corrected.

Just to make sure (after I posted eariler), I went over and posted the quetion at CF ... and they gave me the 'straight poop' ... LOL!

But ... I was told they are still difficult to find (and sell out fast), just like all the other holiday releases do ... unless you are fortunate enough to live near a tobacconist that gets them.

Thanks all for the replies.

Yes, it was a wonderful smoke and definitely one of the finest I've ever had. It's complexities and fabulous finish are one of the best, IMHO.

Difficult to fine?..absolutley, almost impossible, but I was lucky enough to be gifted some by a friend who knows I have a fondness for high-end AF cigars.

Slim: Again, thanks for the "biodata" on these cigars. Please email me as I have a couple of questions on AF cigars...thank you. emgjet at optonline dot com.

B: "a smoke that dreams are made of"...I agree...I can only dream that I can get more.

Just saw 6 of these in what I think are the Masterpiece size last night. Isn't Masterpiece the one that is like 9 inches long? I forgot to look at the price but he said that he ahs had them for a number of months. I guess I should go buy one.

Yep, I'm pretty darn sure. These things are looooong and I think the box only held 12. There were 6 maduro and 6 natural. I comented that I didn't think they came in maduro and he indicated that he had them around a while. I'll stop back in sometime this week for a closer inspection. I was there to pick up a Paul Garmirian (he's the only guy in town that carries them), another Opus X Super Belicoso and a couple of Work of Arts.
