What are these called. I think I saw them on the closeout section of one of my local shops last week?

They are medium to full and spectacular... What's that white stuff all over them? That's what I want to know! (it's ok to love your cigar, just try not to LOVE your cigar...)

Did I say discount rack! I stopped by on lunch and these are 10.00 a piece. Are they worth it? I bought one for a friend, hope he likes it.

10 bux is expensive... but compared with other "retail" prices, I'd say it's in line. I can say it is an excellent and unique cigar!

Seems that the "ploomidor" is doing its job. They look really yummy!!!

The XXO by Tony Borhani aren't being made anymore, are they? I heard that they are better than the "new" ones.

Low

Are they still available??

I was just curious because after reading this post I went out and bought one for a friend and was hoping I was buying him something special he probably hadn't tried but was worth the money.

Thanks

There were three releases of them out there with the 'black and yellow' band ... the first (original, from Costa Rica) one is the best ... by far!

Hoja Cubana - XXO by Tony Borhani Series R
Country - Costa Rica
Wrapper - USA/Connecticut Broadleaf
Binder - Ecuador
Filler - Dominican Republic, Nicaragua

and the ...

Hoja Cubana - XXO by Tony Borhani Series R
Country - Nicaragua
Wrapper - Ecuador
Binder - Dominican Republic
Filler - Dominican Republic, Nicaragua

The third will NOT say, 'by Tony Bohani' on the band ... and I can't remember what is written.

It's got to say ... 'by Tony Borhani' on the band ...

Also, there is one called 'XXO by Edward Nikka' ... and is actually called Hoja Cubano XXO Titanium. I've never tried that one ... but was reported to be an extremely limited production line that offered a Connecticut Broadleaf Vintage 2000 wrapper, with a Dominican Vintage 1997 Binder, and a perfect Filler of Nicaraguan Vintage 1996 ... with Havana Strips. This line claims to have the very subtle taste characteristics of cocoa bean, and at the time they came out, it had been aged for 150 days.
