I would have never thought that it would make much difference. Maybe I am imagining it, but I had a few cigars in a bunch, when I first got them, I tried smoking 2 of them and they were tight, couldn't hardly draw through them.
Now, some considerable time later, I smoke one and no problems. So I grabbed another one, got to see if I am wrong you know. Both had no problems at all.
Is it just that I pulled 2 tight ones when I got them or did the time in the humidor really help that much?

On a second note, the postman brought me a Torano Exodus in the mail. Whoo hoo!!
I am hoping it is a nice cigar, but may let it rest for a bit.

Sounds like when you first tried them,they were too wet. Humidor down time stabilized them. X

In my experience, humidor time will improve any cigar, regardless of type or brand. Of course some cigars require more time than others........

I have had the same problem and I was wondering if they are shipped too Moist "just in case" type of deal?? Rob

I'd almost wonder that too.
But I have gotten some cigars that we just right when I got them.
I guess I will just put them all in their different humidors as soon as I get them and let them rest for a while.
Seems like after a few weeks, they seem better.

I am glad that there is a reason for what it seemed to me and I was not just imagining it.
I will now be a little more prudent in making certain they sit for a while.

For me, I usually just let my CBid stuff sit in the humidor for a day or two and its perfectly fine.

I've never had to sit 'gars in there for weeks or anything to stablize them.

So only a few days is needed?
I think it may be the area a person is in too.
The normal humidity here is between 60-90%.
So that may have something to do with it??
