"CAO-Custom Gibson Strat"

Neat. Is the CAO painted on the pick guard or is that a decal? If a decal how can I get one for my bass. (I think I've asked this in the past of you Jon but I forgot the answer. Sorry)

Kevin Sanderson (pictured w/CAO guitar) and Dave Berryman (President of Gibson Guitars). This is the custom-CAO strat we gave away at our 'CAO Boots 'N Butts '03' party during RTDA.

The lucky winner won the one-of-a-kind strat for taking first place in a karaoke contest in front of nearly 2,000 guests (lol)! CAO MAYHEM. 😉

I don't understand, I thought the Strat was a Fender product?

sorry if my 'terminology' is incorrect...it is a CAO custom "guitar" made for us by our friends at Gibson.

A strat is a Fender guitar (Stratocaster). But other guitar makers make a strat shaped body.

I would have thought that Gibson would have made a Les Paul or something. But its a neat guitar none the Les. (pun intended).

Yeah, I would have expected a Les Paul too.
