I'm going to Port Huron Michigan this weekend and was wondering if any of you BOTL know of any cigar shops in Canada? I think Sarnia is where we will be going into. I'm hopinng to get a few more "special" smokes for the box pass 🙂 Shoot me an email if you know of any. Thanks in advance 🙂

No helpful suggestions for you but an observation that the Canadian shops are usually outrageously pricey due to the tax situation.

ain't that the truth! I live just a few hours from WInnipeg and everytime I go up there I end up spending something like $30 on a Cohiba. Its the GST and the PST that seem to kill me. But the Cohibas are soooooo good.... drool....

It's not the GST or PST. They are only 11% combined on the retail price. It is the Tobaco tax which marks up the price as much as 200% of the suggested sellers price. Each privince is different. In Alberta where we had the lowest taxes in Canada, our tax went up in 2001, up to 188%. PSD#4 went from $19 to $27. It came down last month by 98% thanks to a lobby group. Yahoooo!!
