He undergoes his 2nd major surgery within a week having just completed an unbelievable 9 Hour operation a few days ago !!

Major back surgery. Needed because of the abuse his body took in serving our great country for many years!

It's difficult to imagine what he's going through. Billy seems like a wonderful person. I've had the opportunity to exchange emails with him and trade with him on several occasions. I surely hope he comes thorough this with flying colors and that he experiences a dramatic improvement in his back conditions.

Stop and think about it for a second. Have you ever had a problem with your back? I have. It hurts “to breath”, you can’t get into or out of you car without severe pain. Trying to sleep is no picnic and forget about trying to take a good dump… In fact, back problems make almost every aspect of your life unbearable.

Yet Mr. Smith always seems up beat rather than beat up. He’s always pleasant, always positive, always encouraging. I believe this speaks volumes for his character. It would be so easy for a lesser man to succumb to the anxiety brought about by persistent, nagging, intense pain…

True character is never shown in times of plenty and prosperity. To know the true measure of a man is to see how he handles adversity, and Billy has obviously shown he is a top notch individual. He serves his country, continues his education, recently applied for and won a new job/advancement.

He deserves to pull through this with no ill effects, with a quick recovery, and with a dramatic improvement in his condition.

I have had 4 back surgeries,all before the age of 35,and do understand alot of what is going on with Billy.I know in my heart that this man will come through this like a champ.He is a veteran for christ's sake and it will take more than this to bring him down!!
