#2 Relax, when we were kids our parents let us lick the top of the pudding can's. We stuffed our coke can tabs back inside our cans and drank it and they fed us this stuff for cereal. It never effected our minds. It never effected our minds. It never effected our minds. It never effected our minds. It never effected our minds. When Andy and I were kids, our dad was too cheap to buy us plane tickets to visit him. The trip in a box isn't so bad... except for the whole hoding it thing. Andy never bothered holding it.

#2 That's exactly the attitude that got us smoking bans and warning labels.

When I was a kid, we played with Lawn Darts. Real, honest-to-goodness, metal-tipped Lawn Darts. They are apparently banned by international treaty or something. No one who ever played with our set ever got hurt.

I still wish I had the set of the original lawn darts. Those new ones are sissyfied big time.

Lawn Darts!! LMAO!!!

As if they weren't dangerous enough, my friend and I played a varient to the game where you had to stand with one leg inside the ring while your opponent tried to land his darts there.

I couldn't make this stuff up.

You can get the real lawn darts here

http://www.crown-darts.com/content/home.asp

They can't sell complete sets to the US or Canada but they say they can sell you the spare parts and then you assemble them yourself. Around $80 including postage.

My family had Lawn Darts and we used them every summer.

One day, back in the early '80's, we were playing and my little brother wandered directly into the line of fire right after my uncle had released his dart. It planted itself right in his hand, entered in the space between thumb and forefinger and came out his palm. Point was sticking out about an inch. He started running around in circles, yelling and holding his hand out in front of him, the dart waggling back and forth. Finally, my dad was able to get him to stop so he could yank the thing out of his hand and take him to the emergency room. Kind of ruined the day and we never used the Lawn Darts again. I think my folks threw them out.

Damn, I wish I still had some Lawn Darts....they was fun.
