Don't know if it is the mazos, "burlap wrap", that contribute to the cigar beetle problem or not. But I got 3 packs of mazos and 9 of the 18 had one or two holes near the foot.

I don't give a s@it it the little bastards are in there or not. I'm not going to cut open my sticks to find out. Smoked too many gars for too many years to worry. Didn't see any running around the bottom of the pack. I keep them in a seperate dor.

Haven't seen any running out of the holes yet. If they're unlucky enough to be in there or stay in after fireing up, F-em.

I did hear a tiny "pop" this morning when the ash got near a hole.

Got a 24 pack coming from CI this week. I'll reprot back with a critter count.

Consider it a flavour enhancer.

I just checked mine. They look fine. I have had a problem with keeping the temp down where I keep my cigars, so I have been checking them quite often for beetles. If there had been eggs in the bunch of PI's that I got, they would have hatched by now.
