A Partagas Black Label Piramide.

I love most anything Partagas, and I think this is the best of the Black Label line.

A beautifully-shaped torpedo/pyramid, with superb construction and a nice, clean draw. A beautiful dark Cameroon wrapper and its nice shape made this stick look so good I was hesitant to smoke...but I got over it and lit up!

The Cameroon lent a little spice, but not as much as you'd expect. The taste left mostly a very leathery, earthy sensation on the palate, the smoke was nice and cool, and even the aftertaste was pleasant.

All in all, one hell of a smoke. I'll need to get some more of this shape.

Haven't smoked one for a while,

The wrapper isn't a Cameroon, it's a sungrown Connecticut. No wonder it wasn't spicy.

Dan, have you ever thought about writing for CA? I mean, that's like the exact same things they would say about the cigar. 🙂

savbond000, my reviews differ from CA because I use the terms for what it actually tastes like...not some abstract wine terms like "olive loaf with hints of pencil lead" or "black currant smacking with metallic orange."

There are only a few flavors you can compare a cigar to, but most you can't, because tobacco just has its own unique taste.

I wish just once I would read "all in all, one hell of a smoke" in CA...

How do you taste a leathery, earthy sensation?

Big fan of Partagas Black...only had the Magnifico but have some Piramides resting. Look forward to them in time.
