Sorry if this has been covered but I've always wanted to know... Who gets bumped first?

Heres the bidding scenario

2 five packs up for bid. 2 guys both bidding $10.00 on the smokes. They bid at different times. Guy1 1.00Pm Guy2 2pm. Enter Guy3 bidding $11.00 - Who gets knock out first. Guy1, who bid the earliest, or the Guy2, the last man in? Or is it random?

Could make a difference on your bidding strategy.

Thanks

LMAO @ Natsmoker... Guy1 will get bumped first... but as far as bidding stratigy... you want the Cigars... go for the whole lot and use autobid... but also know what you want to pay for them!!!! pretty soon guy2 and guy3 will get tired of seeing just how much you wanted them!!!

Thanks Hog,

Now answer me this. Smoker1 drives from point X at 12:00 driving 50mph. Smoker2 leaves an hour later from point Y but is driving 70mph. If they both arrive a Cigar International at the same time, which one will get a book of CI matches with his purchase?

I think you may be wrong Hog. I think that the first bidder gets the advantage, because he got in first, this bidder is on top of the list.

The bidder more towards the top of the list gets knocked off last. The lower on the list you are, the sooner you get outbid, unless of course you have auto bid on and the guy just above you doesnt.

I think I'm right, but ya better see what others say too.

One thing you can do is look at closed auctions. The guys that show lower winning bids are always on top.

I think I read in the bidding rules section, earliest bidder of the same amount stays. So bidder 2 would get knocked off. That makes the most sense, the earliest bidder should have seniority over bidders that come after him.

Auto bid gives you an advantage

Thanks.
