1/4" Spanish cedar. As you push down on the lid to close it, there is a little squeak. The fit is nice and snug. My best yet! Inside I have 35 IT robustos. You can see there is plenty of room left. Humidifier is a Paradigm unit. Humidity over the last 2 days has been a steady 68-70%. Hygrometer is a basic analog that I calibrated to my digital. I guarantee that if you don't like it for any reason, I'll swap you back!

X you use piano hinge on this one?

Mean, it is the original embedded piano hinge. Grooves were cut in the wood, the hinge inserted and secured with small nails.
