About the only FG cigar I haven't been tempted to try. If only for the name capitalizing on the catchword for the stupid, destructive dotcom economy bubble. Now I've got a couple more reasons. Hey, pass me another Centenario though.

Luckilly I didn't get stuck with a box. Not entirely flavorless, but hardly worth effort to smoke/keep lit. Oh well, live & learn [too bad Eggman's post was AFTER I finally overcame my caution: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is]

Ah but the infrequent disappointments still sting.
Right after my previous post, I gifted a guy who likes large gauge stix -- but warned him of the burn problems & the lack of flavor. He won't mind [maybe he'll pass them along -- a way to dispose of them, one at a time...]

Had to return the ones I had. Force smoked 3 of the five. Couldn't get past the first ash on the 1st one. Steamed the others and let them marry with other cigars in my humidor thinking the osmosis would help. No way. Couldn't get past that 1st ash no matter what. These babies are produced in 2 different countries. Me thinks cigarbid put the wrong description on the wrong cigars. Napolean said "Pan per Nicole" meaning bread fit for his horse. Thats how Pompernickle bread got gone. Who or what can we say these Synergys are fit for? Wanna have some fun? Order the Fidago Negros. The buttery smooth melt in your mouth ones. The first one failed every catagory a cigar can have. Nowhere near cigarbid's description. The second the same. Had one this morning. Perfect, smooth as butter, met the description completely. Had another late in the day half and half, harsh and bitter and half smokable. The one I just finished was ok, but binder was cracked had to scotch tape and squeeze to get smoke, was great until I hit the plug, then harsh and bitter. Relit it a few times, got past the plug then ok. Talk about consistency. So 1 out of 4. Brings cost to about $12 for one good smoke. Think I'm going to loose my addiction for the "win" on cigarbid. May as well go super premium all the way.

I found it rather interesting that the box the Synergys came in was (to my best recollection) the first box of cigars I've bought in a long time that wasn't sealed by a label that had to be cut thru in order to open them...know what I mean? Interesting.
