I just won a box of the Hoja Yellowband Corona Maduro. They are rated pretty highly. Can I get some personal feedback on these?

I got a few of these in a cigar sampler and I must say, they are a terrific smoke. The maduros are rich, med-full bodied and a good everyday cigar. I see they even went for a great price too! Usually they go for around $65-75 a box for Double Coronas, etc. I think you'll like 'em Jack.....Brent

Jack, recently I won a 5-pack of their Robustos. Tried one right away and found them to be very good. Recomendable, enjoyable. What I discovered later disapointed me though. One of the 5 was badly damaged (don't worry, CB sent me a replacement...) so I cut it open........ only to discover that the filler wasn't long, nor medium, but short! SHORTFILLER!!!! This I didn't expect. Still a good smoke though.

Hansen: I think you're right. I can't find anything printed about these cigars that says long filler. They are highly rated by CA (for what that's worth). I guess I'll find out soon enough.

hey jack...i thought i sent you an XXO Maduro Torp. I too like these yellow bands as an everyday smoke. It's a nice stick, if I didnt send you one I'll make it up to you at the CLEVELAND SMOKE. Randy

Can this be true? Someone else cut open an YellowBand.

Coach, The main reason I ordered the Yellowbands was because I really liked the XXO Torpedo you sent. I hope they are half as good.

XXO Short Beliscoso's are EXLNT. IMO

Jack-these are decent cigars. I got a box almost 1 yr. ago and found them to be a decent smoke. Think I got them for ~ $25 here on CB. I think you will enjoy....BTW-I love the TB XXO's also. Especially the Belicoso's.
