Finally tried my JdN and liked it. A bit too strong for any normal smoke, but the taste is very good. I really only smoked half of it, though. My wife came home and took it from me. She finished it and likes it too. That's probably how I survived the experience.

I thought the ale would go well with it since it was 8.5% alcohol. Tasted slightly fruity and sweet. My wife had Delirium at the Oktoberfest this weekend so I brought a bottle home for myself. Didn't want to mix it with the German beer I was drinking at the time.

Is that a JdN I sent you? They are a bit "hairy" for me but good if you have a very full stomach. 🙂

grond. Had this one sitting in my humi for months and have been too chicken to smoke it. I definately couldn't do this one every day. I recently got a another one from jdouglas so I took the oportunity to smoke this one.
