I'm going to give this bidder the benefit of the doubt because something like this almost happened to me! I was preparing to bid on some of my favorites when my 11 year old came into the office calling "daddy! daddy!" Distracted, I put my max bid into the starting bid box. Fortunately my max bid wasn't too high. The point is that if you get distracted by something or someone you can make a bidding mistake.

00camper your right. When I first found CB I made a couple of bids I thought were whole boxes because I wasn't paying attention. Ouch!!!! It still hurts.

It's just over $6 a stick (plus shipping) and it may be cheaper than he can get at his local shop. Doesn't explain why he would pay more than it costs at CI, though.
