I live in NY and had to share this story. It happened a few hours ago, I was walking down the local avenue near work, it was during my lunch break. I happened to look down one of the side streets, and thought I saw the word cigars, on the awning of one of the store. As I got closer I see it's called Millenium Cigars. So I decided to go in and to my surprise I see one fairly large wall humidor with a bunch of cigars in it. None of the cigars had any bands on them, which I thought was a little odd. I happen to look over the counter and there's this old Dominican guy rolling cigars. At that moment I figured I was dead and went to heaven. I struck up a conversation with the guy, and found out he was using dominican long filler with a sumatra wrapper. I ended up buying a 5 pack of torpedo's, they looked to be about 6x54. As soon as I got back into my car, I sparked one up, and to my surprise they were pretty damn good. The construction was as good as one of those 10 buck cigars, kind of like an Ashton. The burn was near perfect, no canoeing, burned nice and even. It held a nice ash too. The only thing wrong was that it could use a few months in the humidor, but the taste wasn't that bad for a newly rolled cigar. Like I said a few months rest and that baby is good to go. I know this story might bore some people, but being that I love the whole cigar expeirence, I figured I share the story.

When I was at the store I took a quick look at his price sheet. It looked like all of the sizes he had fell within the $4 to 8$ price range. I like torpedo's, he had 5", 6" & 7" torpedo's (at about a 54 ring) they ran for 5,6,and 7 bucks respectfully. I picked up a 5 pack of the 6x54 torpedo's he gave me a buck off on eack gar,so I paid $5 a stick.
