Well, last night I sat down with a frosty mug of Dr. Pepper, to watch what became one of the most exciting baseball games I've seen in a few years. To top it all off I had a El Rico Habano Maduro in my hands. I used my new XiKar cutter, which by the way is awesome!! Perfect cut, the cigar looked beautifull, a very dark and oily wrapper not really veiny, but not smooth. I tosted the foot with my torch and the aroma that came out of it was awesome, like coffee beeing ground in the morning, nice. As it began to smoke I tasted those all too familiar flavors, I could have swore I was smoking a cuban!! This cigar had just arrived at my doorstep the same day, so I probably should have set it a side for a couple of days before smoking it, but I just couldn't resist. It burned perfectly, at some points it would start to burn a bit crooked but I would set it down on my ashtray for just a few and it would correct itself. Every draw was a vast cloud of thick white/grey smoke, the flavors began to pick up about 1/3 into it, very nutty and cocoa flavors. Half way through the spice and pepper flavors came alive. My stomach let me know that this was a full bodied smoke, and that next time I should accompany it with a stronger drink. It never got harsh and only got better. Smoked it way past the band, 'till about 3/4 of an inch. The finish was very spicy! not too much just enough. What a great smoke!!! JD1 be ready there they go!!!

Great review Coma; I smoked the last two I had and looking forward to this box split. Nothing like saving over $2+/stick on these. I think these are going to age really nicely.

Okay, Okay, Okay...I can't take it any more!

I am going to the humi tonight and pull out the one that X sent me and burn it down.

My local guy recommended it to me, and I bought one and smokes it tonight because it was my roommates b-day. What a great smoke! Loved it. Great review COma!
