Neither of these is particularly outrageous. Chisels are selling between $6-7 apiece. Add in taxes and he's getting them for retail (and CI doesn't have them yet). The RyJ are also about retail (not available in 5-pks from CI either).

I love an overbid alert as much as the next guy, but it's only really good if they go way over CI/retail prices.

On the RyJ, I would say 18% over a readily available price is a little high.

In a 5-pack, I might add.

He's bid $20 on a 5 pack of RyJ Reserve Maduro #4 (or $4/cigar).

CI has these for $85/box of 25. That comes to $3.40/cigar. 5-packs always cost more per cigar than they do by the box. So say they'd go for between$3.50-$4 if they had 5 packs available (which they don't). With GA state taxes thrown in he's coming out right about retail (and right about at CI retail if they sold 5-packs).

If you know a site where these can be had for less than $3/stick (as singles - not boxes) please email it to me. I'd like to pick some up.

The funniest one is the CAO Flavors Sampler Pack which is a regular on CBid. It typically sells for $19.95 on the main site but regularly commands upwards of $25.00 on CBid. Go figure!
