After the SF/East Bay Herf, Mark and Rico (Torano Rep) went to some local shops around the bay area. Well I was in on of them and saw three boxes of Torano Reserves, different sizes. I asked if they dropped them off and sure enough they did. I picked one of these beautys up, and curious if anyone else has smoked one yet, hint, hint Mark (gr8stag). They are great lookin and in a sealed glass tube. Hmmmm, how fresh are they and should they rest for a while? I'm thinking they might be fresh enough that they don't need to be opened and rested in my humi for a week or so.

This one is killing me every time I open my humi and see this beauty laying on top. Its Friday and tonight might be the night if you all think its right. Heheheeeee that ryhms! LOL

It's ready to go ... won't hurt it any to let it sit in the 'dor for a week or two (I think that helps ALL smokes after a trip), but sealed in the tube, it's weathered that trip better than most ...

Only criticism I have is that I find a slight bitter overtone in the first 1/3.

What's with this Torano Reserve? Are you talking about the Reserva Selecta that come in tubes? Or is this a new line?

Ikon, I'm sure its the Reserve Selecta, if it is in a glass tube, that I mentioned in your thread. Odd that it has come up in another thread so quickly. As I mentioned in your thread, this is a great stick! Made very well and is smooth and creamy all the way through.

The Reserva Selecta is a beautiful cigar. Had the Robusto once, and I was impressed. The golden color of the wrapper makes you think it'd be real mild, but actually it starts out medium and picks more body as you smoke it.

I need to get more of these 😉

I'm waiting for the 10 that I won the other day here at cbid to arrive. I usually get my delivery by Friday afternoon but they haven't even sent me the tracking number yet 😞 I had my first over the Labor day weekend.....spicy & smooooooooooth
