Has anyone tried the Las Vegas Cigar Company's cigars. I had read an article on them back in 96 and happen to get a sample box in 97. I remember them as being too wetand needed a long sleep in my humi.. The reason I am asking is I'm going to be in the area and thought I would pick some up. There on the Stip in Vegas and do all thier rolling on the premises. Does anybody have any thoughts on these cigars, should I save my money ?

Located across Las Vegas Blvd. from the Monte Carlo Hotel in a strip center. Not a bad cigar for the price in Vegas. I always buy some while there to smoke in the casinos. Most sizes and shapes also come in a sweet version. Not bad for a change of pace. It is worth your time to go by and try one.

I bought a sampler of LV mild cigars over a year ago, very early in my cigar quest. Good price, and they threw in two extra cigars of my choice (Churchill and Excalibur, no less, with a little badgering). I thought they were pretty decent smokes, but remember my continuing beginner status. They got better after resting like you say; I still have a couple in a tupperdoor. But I'm not sure if they're a better deal than what you can get on CBID, in the size, etc., that you like. Recommend you stop by there once and pick up 1 or 2, smoke them at your leisure, and decide whether to go back and stock up; it's worked for me.

But I'm beginning to become skeptical about all the shops I've visited who allegedly roll their own cigars. I've scoured Key West on a couple of visits, and haven't seen anyone rolling cigars, except for what was probably a demonstration at one shop in Key West. A wrinkled Cuban gentleman was putting wrappers on in at window by the sidewalk, probably to draw customers inside. The primary stock in the store was standard. Only this one shop, despite seeing paraphenalia everywhere, and everyone claiming they hand rolled their own cigars.

Might there be only a relatively few factories that roll all these cigars, and many shops have their rings put on them? We already know there are factories who make various different well-known brands. I've even seen ads where I can purchase cigars and have my own rings put on them.

Anyone else have experiences knowledge to share? I'm very curious about this and would love to be straightened out, either way.

Most likely, you probably didn't realize that they have an internet retail website that they sell their cigars from ...

i have only thrown away 2 cigars after smoking a puff or 2. and they weren't the bad frogs, they were the lv cigar company.

if you want to buy cigars in lv, but them from the paiuate inddian cigar store. gret selection and excellent prices.
