I've enjoyed Padrons in the past. However, I never had a Maddie until last night. Gifted by Rasta the Insane, the 3000 just couldn't stay cooped up in the humi any longer.

As always with Padrons...a solid smoke. The burn was impeccable and the ash held very well.

This thing had some great spiciness all the way through. Not only was the wrapper peppery to the lips (as many start out) but even the smoke provided a kick in the flavor.

Don't get me wrong. This wasn't an exotic cigar...but man was it solid! I have a feeling that box after box, these things (Padrons in general I assume) would be reliable.

Bro. Rasta, many thanks for a good experience. I am eyeing the Partagas Serie S gifts as well!

Padron is the only cigar maker that I've never had any consruction problems with. X

I almost have enough empty Padron boxes to build me a "walk in", well line my closet anyway. LOL

In all those boxes, I've only had one box of the Londres that was rolled a little tighter than usual, but still smokable.

I have yet to meet a Padron I didn't like, so I'll keep trying, LOL.

Glad you liked the Padron Maduro. I really prefer the 5000s but those 3000s are a nice size as well. I suspect you will alos like the Partagas Series S but I do find those to be a much milder smoke.
