I recently won a bid for a box of 5 Signature Collection maduro robustos. They are in glass tubes. The price was low and I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed these. Kind of reminded me a a slighty milder Mayorga maduro.

Anyone else tried these? Your opions?

Another cigar made by Kevin Doyle's defunct Caribbean Cigar Company. The Signature Collection was actually a top of the line smoke blended by Santiago Cabana, formerly the master blender of the Partagas Factory in Havana.

Cabana, post Caribbean, blended the El Original and is again rolling a namesake line, simply called Santiago Cabana. For those interested in a brief history of Caribbean Cigar, check out this article from 1996 in Smoke Magazine.

X, I am humbled and flattered.

The problem with having smoked tonnage of cigars over four decades is that you've bought all this stuff and probably still have a few lying around. Today I was digging around for one of the original Dominican Aristoff Cameroons, not Triki Bermejo's NATSA variety, and low and behold, at the bottom of a cooler, I found an untouched box of Aristoff Millenium Reserve. I don't even remember buying them.
