Yep, the sand and dust screwed our ship up pretty good! Should've seen the flightdeck, what a dirty, greasy mess...We've been back since this summer and trust me, all we are doing now is rehab'ng the ship.

Are you returning with your Marine complement on board?What's your rating? I notice you are SW qual'd...Since your sleeves are rolled up, I assume that you are at least a senior chief (answerable only to God, the command master chief, XO, and CO...in that order)...or a department head (answerable to God, your SC, the XO and CO...in that order)....Do they have you in winter working blues already...that must suck...

Yes we waited until the Marines were released with the mission in Iraq. We left Jan 10 and came back this June so I've been back for a while. Actually I'm a First Class. The temp out in Egypt was pretty high so sleeves rolled up was ok on our boat.
