I've bought lots of these sticks from Cbid, though I've never seen them sold by the box. I've purchased at least ten 5-packs since they were released.

I think they're an outstanding medium bodied cigar and highly recommend the North Beach. Here's the Cbid copy:

"A unique, full-bodied cigar with a very interesting powerful taste generated by the genuine Corojo wrapper. Blended with ligero leaves from Nicaragua, Brazil and the DR. The North Beach size is 5”x54."

I totally disagree with "full bodied and powerful" as these on a 1 to 10 power scale are about a 6. But, they are beautifully rolled with absolutely perfect draw. I rarely ever nub a cigar, but tonight after a wonderful dinner of pan seared salmon and single malt scotch, a friend and I sat on my deck, drank Guatemalan Mimaya Estate, and smoked Bohemian Red North Beaches and they were fabuloso; as good a cigar as I've had in months. I don't know how they'd be off the truck, but with several months to a year's age they are excellent.

I'm gonna have to dig some out I've had for a year or more. I didn't think too much of them when I first tried them. X

I agree with you on the full bodied part, they seemed fairly mild to me, but I liked their taste and draw.

Yes, that's the cigar.

As X commented, off the truck these weren't ready and may have been a bit acrid, but with a year's age, they really smoothed out to a nice after dinner smoke; again, not powerful or full bodied, but medium.

very good cigars,but no powerhouse for sure medium at best,but great burn,smooth flavor,most unusual wrapper and construction make it stand out from the other cigars out there.

got some of the ginsburgs. i guess these are the same?

If these are the smokes with a pigtail cap & a shaggy foot, I've had many of them. They are good smokes. I've never noticed boxes of them on CBid either.
