Couple things. First, about how much should a sheet of spanish cedar run for my tupperdor? second, if i could get some spanish cedar cigar boxes pretty cheap, would it be ok to pull a box apart and use the wood from that? That way, id have the cedar for the dor and a couple extra boxes. Obvioulsy i have a tupperdor that isnt big enough to hold a box, but will hold plenty of cigars.

If the cigar boxes are made of unvarnished Spanish cedar they will work just fine! The cedar, which some say may impart some flavor, is really for maintaining proper humidity.

I've taken unvarnished cedar box pieces and put them in my tupperdors. Don't know what good it'll do. If I had my druthers, I'd get a large wooden humidor. Plastic is a petroleum product. Not as good as wood.

thanks for the answer. the tupperdor, as i found out, doesnt maintain proper humidity even with pg. so i need some cedar to help out with that.
