I know that I am going to get a barrage of snotty comments, but I will ask it anyway.
Don't take this wrong, but it is something I have been wondering.

I have noticed that the CAO L'Anniversaire MADURO, mainly the corona size I have gotten (again, this may be just a one box thing) have had problems with the construction, the wrapper not wanting to stay together. They just kind of fall apart. As far as the humidor, it is 65degrees at 70percent humidity. It never drops below 70 percent, as our outside humidity rarely drops below 70 percent, so I have ruled out a humidor problem.

On the other hand, the CAO gold is almost always flawless construction.
I thought maybe you could shed some light.

Last time I asked a question about CAO I got chastised, so I quit buying any. But I received some CAO gold and bought a bunch of the Maduro recently, that is why I ask.
So, take it the way you want. I am not complaining about CAO or trying to make CAO look bad, just had something that I was wondering about.

Maybe it was just one bad lot. I've smoked many, of all the sizes they make. The same ones your talking about. I havent had that problem.

I've had problems with CAOs before, but not with the wrapper.

I've noticed that the L'Anniversaire lines (Cameroon, Maduro, and eXtreme) seem to often have slight uneven burns and other light nuisances. Sometimes they correct themselves, they always taste right, but I have had some especially ugly-looking ashes and burns on CAO maddies before.

CAO Gold, on the other hand, always seems to be flawless! Criollos are kind of mixed, and I haven't had a Brazilia in a long while, so I can't remember how it burned.

I do know that each line of CAO is made in a different factory (SteveR posted about it here....

), but I can't blame it on the rollers since, according to Jon, Gold and Maduro are made in the same factory in Esteli, Nic. Hmmmmmmm.

Criollos... The Only CAO I Smoke an the Wife Smokes also...I find this Cigar running right there with some of the ISOM's of Modern day...Never had a problem with the burn always even and never had problems with relights etc... fantastic Cigar IMHO!!!

the other lines I've had troubles with Brazillia line is too heavy a smoke for me although I have enjoyed them their not my go to's....
