Ok, I wrote my revies down very orderly and then lost them, so I'm going be memory:

#3 (I think it was number 3 but it could have been 2 - I can't believe I forgot to write down the number! - Dave, it was the darkest one of the three...sorry!) was a dark, oily maduro (robusto). veiny and rough, but not as rough as a Buc. Several imperfections here and there. Cut was rough as it was pretty dry (I must suck at this....). Pre light draw was VERY tight - almost impossible. I tried opening it w/ a toothpick w/o much success. Lit it and first few puffs were tough. Just got a little slightly sweet smoke out of it until 1/2 inch when it opened a little. Ash burned white and solid. 1 inch into it, it opened up more and I got some decent smoke - slightly sweet and bitter. After 1 1/2 inch it opend more, burning crooked, but I fixed it. Flavor was still slightly sweet with a harsh finish - developing a woody taste. After 2 inches it the flavor finally developed into a rich tobacco flavor - draw was still tight. This flavor stayed consistent most of the way down. Draw never opened up, so I might not have gotten a good representation of the gar. It continued to grow fuller with the rich tobacco flavor, but finish remained slightly bitter. Under better circumstances this could have been a good gar, but the draw problems really hurt the experience. Sorry!

Usually this is a much better cigar. As you remember, I originally sent you these 3 unbanded cigars with my contribution to your pass which I stupidly mislabeled. The package got returned to me. I sent new cigars to DrMaddVibe for the pass and replaced two of the three unbanded ones I sent you but this cigar was the only one I had on hand at the moment so it probably needed more recovery time.

When I get in my next box of them, I'll send you out another one to try.

First of all - no need to apologize when you send someone FREE cigars! I could tell it had good flavor, just had some bad circumstances - I'd love to try another one...... IF I KNEW WHAT IT WAS!
