At the risk of agreeing with AVB and crossing the now much respected Slim, I hate this Hubcap business as well. I don't care about bandwidth or creativity. Guess I just don't know Hubcap and can't respect the presence of his pic all the time. The Hubcap thing and the "What car?" mess on the hottie pic posts are quite annoying to me.

But that's my opinion. It sure isn't enough to run me out of here. The board is still loads good enough to outshine my dislike for such things.

But what the hell do I know?

When it came to having our out-of-town guest formal picture taken, I let the esteemed Slimboli "Cap" it for us. I have that in my office hanging up.

You can beg Slim but I still don't think it took any imagination. Just like Pavlov's dogs, ring a bell and they salivate. Post a picture and it is "hubcapped". Where is the imagination? Skill to do it well, most likely, imagination, nope.

Then don't put up a Christmas tree, cook a turkey on Thanksgiving, celebrate with fireworks on 4th of July, color some eggs for Easter, or any other celebration that begs the "trappings" it deserves.

Save the money that you'd spend on cigars and buy a sense of humor!

But Dr. I do have a sense of humor. I find it hilarious that to you, hubcapping a picture is on a par with national and religious holidays. Must be 'cause I don't do Easter eggs.

You guys have no idea about Hubcap because it was started several years ago when us oldtimers were here and very active. Hubcap is an ICON at CBid!
