The ones in the middle could be bloom, but the ones on the ends look like mold. Too big and splotchy. Still smokeable, but you might want to look inside that humidor and get the root problem fixed.

what X said,
ploom is uniform more or less and not splotch or spiderwebby.

just rub it off and smoke 'em! if it's ploom leave it on and smoke 'em!

just an observation, but i thought the new bands had three rows of squares above COHIBA? i've never seen one before so please do take this with a grain of salt but:

Here I am Slim...

"You Called It" right on the money...and in my honest opinion - it is Mold. However, mold can be wiped off and the gar still smoked.

BTW - I have smoked a few counterfits that tasted "Very Good"...As long as you didn't pay an arm and a leg for em....Don't worry!

Just my .02 cents.

Many of the counterfeiters inside Cuba take great pride in their work and produce some great cigars.

Counterfeiters may take great pride in their work, but if they are working with a lower grade tobacco than the legitimate factories their cigars will reflect that.

If these are the new embossed bands, they should have three rows above the name. If these are third generation bands two is correct.

Those are very veiny wrappers... Mold looks to me also?? how long you had these stored away??

and the older Cohiba bands have the two at the top over the Cohiba lable.. but the veins are a stand out... how is the tripple caps look??? many times Fake Cubans have another cap that has been added at a later time thus it will become loose upon Cutting or punching...

what a bummer. He is so excited about his Cubans, and that they are plumed, and then finds out they are moldy fakes.
I swear, this is the prime example of why I keep trying to say NO to the dark side. I've been bitten in the ass pretty hard myself.

Totally agree, to go into the Darkside one must prepare itself to the inebitable, yes my friends, if you venture in the darkside, chances are, you WILL end up with fakes, at least ones or twice!!
However there is a saying that says....

"If all good things were easy to acomplish ( in this case easy to get), then anyone will do them"

Be cheerful, now you now what fake cubans and mold look like, yes it sucks, but one must learn.
