Has anyone received the free cigars from General Cigar for their taste test? A friend got them and says that he was chosen at random.

I've done their test several times in the past, but not recently

Got mine Monday, smoked the first one last night, the unbanded number.
One of the questions was what would make it better to which I answered, "It would be better if it tasted good".

Beautiful construction, ash and burn tho.

Must have been a Bucanero clone.

I had the exact same experience with the unbanded one. For the question, "What was the best thing about this cigar", my answer was "The End". Really a dog rocket. The other two weren't all that bad though.

Just got mine yesterday.

Just got mine today - does anyone know if we ever find out what they are? I wonder if they send out the same three to everyone.... I got one londsdale that has a natural med. brown wrapper, one robusto w/ a med. brown, slighlty reddish wrapper and a natural corona looks like a light tan connect. shade wrapper (unbanded)... only problem is - they all smell like swisher sweets!

(btw, guys, these are the General Cigar Co. taste tests...)

So far the unbanded one is 0-2 on this thread.

I smoked the unbanded one last night and loved it! Beautiful construction good even burn, great ash. Creamy draw, with a slight pepper taste upon exhale. Excellent mild-medium body smoke! I have not smoked the other two yet. I can't wait to try the other two this weekend!

This taste test is filled already. I smoked the L6 today, not a bad smoke, but it is a little young. I'm pretty sure I know what it is, but I don't want to influence anyone's opinion. Free cigars are good!!
