Picked up one to test drive at my local this afternoon. It had that healthy barnyard aroma that we discussed, that to me is a good sign in a cigar.

I think this is a camaroon wrapper. One prominent vein, but what the hell, it's a leaf, so that's okay. For you pepper lovers, this one was really peppery at first. Nice draw, which is a big plus, because I cannot stand a cigar with a firm draw. Pretty solid, too, maybe not as solid as a LGC Serie R.

I haven't seen these around, or haven't paid any attention. Made by Leon Jimenez. It's bolder than a LJ maddie robusto, and the LJ's I have had I didn't like the draw as much. Produces a lot of smoke and the flavor profile is good for me. I might like them more after a few months rest, but it's not bad right now. I had to put it down for a while, talk to E-Chick on the phone, go ship a box of cigars to someone and have some Chinese with Donna. Came back and re-lit it on the patio while listening to Michael Savage and sipping some iced coffee. Pretty good cigar. Try one if the price is right. I paid about $5 at the local, but haven't checked around on the net yet.

I PU a box of robusto's on CB after trying a sampler of all sizes. So far the corona size is my fav but I haven't tried the robusto yet,as I'm letting them rest for awhile. I like the flavor profile a lot. X
