Well...my team is playing MNF tonight against the Packers. It's a big game for both teams, and I expect the Eagles to come out hard at Lambeau. After work I head to the gym. The entire time there I think about what I want to smoke while I watch my team win. For some reason, I chose a 9 month old VSG over a bloomin Torano Signature that's been sleeping for over a year.

I get to the bar...and the Eagles are doing nothing. Worst yet, the cigar is doing nothing, as well. No power, no flavor, just air. This further influences me that these get worse the longer they 'box-age', and that the Eagles need a new game plan. Please ask me, why didn't I choose the Torano? At least I didn't pick the Eagles this week 🙂

You picked the Eagles and rest is a logical progression. BTW,I think the VSG is in a dead period. X

As a public service I will take all those lousy VSG if you need to get rid of the crummy sticks 🙂

Your disappointment is nothing compared to mine as a Packer Fan. Its bad enought that they lost but it was a terrible boring game to watch up until the last few minutes.

I think the Packers would have won if Favre and Green could have held on to the ball. Oh well.

The box of Sorcerers I recently got seem different than older ones I've had. They don't seem as spicy and complex as I remember from older versions. I thought it was me.

Maybe they ran out of new and unexplored fields to grow their "virgin sun-grown" wrappers.

I've noticed that about the VSG line over the last year or so. I now only get these if they are really really dark and oily. I did not get any from this last batch at the local shop. The wrappers were just too light compared to the last shipment that he got. On some, the wrapper even varies within the same box. And in all, the wrappers tend to vary in color from size to size. They are still my fav "mostly available" sungrown, but I'm a little more particular about these now.

Maybe they're using WSG wrappers lately. (Whore Grown Sungrown) X :~)

Glad (or maybe sad) to see that it isn't just me.
I have had some wonderful VSG and some very so so lately. I suspect that they are trying to increase production due to demand and using some inferior product.
