Last weekend, bundled up cause it is a balmy 30degrees when this is taken, I am out on a ride, and stumble across this old train station and a rail that I thought was long dead. Just then I feel a rumble and shortly after see the train pulling into the station

Good pic and thanks for sharing. The train rumbles through town at the station and right in the front yard of that house in the background? Where is this place?

---Glen Mills Train Station---

Could it be Glen Mills, PA ... or the one in DE ???

Now museum of local history, this red-brick Gothic building, is believed to have been designed in 1880 by Frank Furness. Tour the old stationmaster's quarters and learn a little about life on the rails.

The place is Glen Mills Pa. This was the old rail yard and industry area of the "original town". I love this area and frequently ride thru here. Just never knew the rail line was still somewhat active.

I am smoking a "Hamilton Reserve" Zorro in the picture and the frog on the back of the bike was given to me by some annonymous person at my Women on Wheels Ride In in Land between the Lakes Ky. about 2 seasons ago. Frogs are a sign that someone is thinking good things about you. How it got started in WOW history is still a bit of a mystery, but it is a custom for us WOWers. This one just fits good on the bike and has traveled with me to many places since I received him.
