Anyone out there know where Sgt. Mike Berry is? This guy has stiffed me on a trade of about 50 cigars and I can't locate him. Also, I am wondering if anyone knows who the "new" bidder AT from Havelock, NC is? Is he a real person or an alias for one missing Mike Berry? It seems quite odd that Mike leaves and this person shows up from the same town? Any help is greatly needed. Thanks,

Looks like I got stiffed for a humidor. Never would of thought Mike would have done this...........

I hate to say this, and I wasn't going to mention it until this post came up, but I did do a trade with him early in the game. I must say that it was THE most uncomfortable and stressful trade I ever did with anyone. He made it so complicated, that after awhile, I didn't know what was going on. We finally completed the trade, but it had taken more than a dozen emails to finalize and get everything worked out. Then after it was all said and done, he wanted me to send back his cigars! The reason was ... he tried one of the cigars that I was sending him, before he got the ones from me, and he decided that they didn't do anything for him. After all the hassle I went through to get them for him, I told him a 'deal was a deal', that they were on their way. After that, he got really 'pissy' with me in several consequent emails. I vowed to myself that I would never trade (or do any business) with him again. So much for the honorable Marine ... hey? At the time, he was a member of the Mag 9, and I din't want to stir up bad feelings. I should have went with my instincts ...

This guy sound slikea real prick.......If he stiffed you guys and $ was a issue where it was actually used as a trading point he would be in violation of wire fraud which is a federal offense. Just a thought. Sorry guys but the agent in me is coming out, hate to see fellow CB friends get stiffed by a putz!

I am a newbie on this BB but have been around all the others for quite a few years. Take this advice if you wish it resolved.

If he is an active duty Marine, call the post he is stationed too and contact his CO. Commander. The military WILL NOT stand for this conduct. I know this, being retired Army myself. One phone call or two will settle this matter quickly.

Mike Berry set me up with a person to get wholesale prices on a few brands of premium cigars, and I have been very thankful to him for that. After that he asked to trade cigars with me, I am not big into trading, but send him I think 5 of my finest cigars, and haven't heard back from him again. But then again, I sent them in the expectation of not getting anything back, as I was more than happy with the contact he put me in touch with.
