soooooo... once upon a time i used to like CTSH wrapped cigars. fonseca and helix are the only two i like at all now. i've never tried a sinatra cigar -- my way the name? anyway, just curious after having a gander at them. they LOOK like they'd be a good smoke, but are they? are they brittle like some CTSH can be? the ctsh i've had so far, and granted i've only tried maybe ten, max, seem like such a gamble. either i love them or hate them; very rarely is it in the middle.

anyway, i'd love any info you can give on the sinatras. also, if anyone would be up to trade out 2-3, that would be grand as well. if you'd rather email me, i'm at BBELTRISI at ec.rr.com

Sinatras are very smooooth and mild, something to break yourself in on.

There are two versions of Sinatra cigars. First, the "My Way" brand which I find quite light. Second, the "Sumatra" which is mild to medium smooke. I started out with these cigars before moving up to the heartier tastes. Once in a while, I'll go back to one while doing something else. In short, Sinatras are good cigars for the newbie, but will seem light as you experience other better brands. IMHO, of course!

thanks, guys. i do enjoy a mild-med or even plain ol' mild smoke now and then. well, i should say that i like mild-med but spiciness is very good, too. any spice to any of the sinatras?

so far the only one i've heard of is the "my way" variety. are there others besides a sumatra?

The Sinatra Sumatra is great. A lot of stars have their own brands of cigars these days. Be sure and try the Cher Cheroot, Rosado O'Donnell, and J-Lo Corojo. J-Lo was also behind the Big Butt line, but in the end it was a bust. For you Wheel-of-Fortune fans, there's the Vanna Havana. The best, although a little pricey, is Ron Howard's Opie X.

And don't forget the Andy Camerooneys and the La Gloria Estafans.
My fav though is that Rosado O'Donnell strap-on number.

Very cute...
I've smoked many Sinatras and bought a lot of them 3 years ago. Here's my take

The My Ways with Connecticut shade wrapper are similar to my taste buds to a domestic (not ISOM) Montecristo #2. Nice smooth with some complexity. I like them for a change of pace.

Of the Sumatra wrapped Sinatra's, I've really enjoyed the robusto size. It has a richness and spiciness that is enjoyable for a change of pace. The churchills are similar, a bit milder at the beginning and a bit spicier at the end. The minor downfall with Sinatra Sumatras IMHO is a bit of acidity in the taste.

All the Sinatras have a nice easy draw and generally excellent construction. I do have lot in my stash and if anyone is interested in a trade, mlkearns at yahoo dot com

Let's not forget Rickamaven's two favorites, the George Robushto and the Montecruz Schwarzennegro Cubano.

Rick also likes the Algorea Panatellas as they are as flavorless and weak as Al Gore himself!

I was real impressed with Sinatra My Way when I first got a box. I was under the impression that this was a one shot deal but they keep showing up. I like the change of pace from the more full body cigars that I smoke. Variety is the spice of life but don't tell my wife!

Had one once. Or at least part of one. It was one of the nastiest pieces of **** I tried to smoke. I don't know which one it was but it was horrible.

buildeagle: good to hear that you guys who enjoy full-strength smokes do still enjoy the mild-meds from time to time. i'm starting to favor medium strength but lots and lots of peppery/spicy flavor.

looking forward to trying these out, guys, and i'll get your trade packs together to send by the week's end. mille grazie!
