ok help a newbie out here and explain the rules of a PIF pretty please with frosting on top 🙂

Pretty basic contest... the person who is offering the PIF bomb will post "who wants free cigars" and the person who posts "i do" first will get 'em. It is then up to the next person in line (the "i do'er) to post "who wants free cigars" within the next 24 hours. A fun game and a great way to get established as a good and trustworthy trader IMO.

hey Liz...welcome to the forum. Pay It Forward (PIF), is a game in which somone asks the question of "who wants some free cigars". If i win, Kingofsmithville sends me 5 premium cigars (premium meaning non machine made..pretty good cigars). In turn, the next day, i have to ask the question of "who wants some free cigars" and then i send that person free cigars. That person asks the question and sends the winner free cigars etc.

I have a question. Is there some latitude in the definition of premium? I have some ISOM machine mades that are pretty darn good, and some hand made dog rockets that I would never send to a BOTL.

Hey CWfoster...those are among some of my best cigars!! I want to save them both for a special occasion. However, i will smoke them on the same day so i can compare...hmmmm, maybe tonight can qualify for a special occasion...i'll have to think about this 🙂

oh about the ISOM machine mades...well in my personal case, i would rather have a ISOM machine made that tastes good over a dog rocket hand made. I take that into your own personal consideration when putting together a PIF (possibly emailing the winner and asking them if they would like an ISOM machine made).

I try and e-mail the person who I will be sendingthe PIF to and ask them what kind of 'gars they enjoy and what kind of wrappers as well. That way I can try and match them up with something they will enjoy...
