This is not the actual box that I'm getting ...

... but soon ...

One of the 1000 boxes produced in the Robusto size, I will split with a good friend here on these forums, who helped me find them ...

And, at an incredible price, I might add!

Don't feel bad, eleltea ...

The tobacconist where I bought mine, told me that he is no longer selling them at that price (he's raising them), and is no longer going to sell them by the box ... only ½ boxes, 5-packs or maybe even singles.

He told me to feel 'very lucky', because I got one of the few 'sealed boxes' that he sold ... and only because I was on his 'waiting' list before he got them in ... and probably realized what he could get for them!

pabloescabar --- $7.95 a cigar is a decent price to pay for an outstanding cigar, no matter what that cigar may be.

It's not really about how much you pay ... but what you are getting for your $$$ ... and whether or not YOU think it is worth that cost.

Cigars in the 'caliber' of the Carlos Torano 'Tribute' don't come around very often ... and to be one of the few who can get a box of 'limited production' cigars at all, is well worth it to me. I was just fortunate to fnd them at the price I did ... which makes it even sweeter.

The three sizes are limited to only 1000 boxes each ... and once they are gone, who knows if they will ever return. And even if they do ... I doubt they will be the same cigar as the originals that was soley produced to be the tribute to Carlos Torano.

I've kicked myself many times for not juming on the chance to score 'rare' cigars when I had the opportunity ... only to get the chance to try them at even higher prices through a 'third' party. And a very limited number of them at that!

But that is your call ...

No; I'm fine Slim. I had previously scored some singles when they first came out! LOL! But I can tell you, it sure feels like Christmas; kinda got that giddy feeling all inside. Burned another robusto last night and it's just as you described. I even detected a slight "twang" on the finish. Shweet.

Ahhh..the bonuses! I have a feeling my fishing stash is going to be getting some friends really soon!

I paid about $200 for a box of robustos from my local, but I am ok with that. They treat me pretty well there, and I got them right away 🙂
