I wonder if the rollers thought they were nuts when management proposed this.

I can imagine some 60 year old veteran just shaking his head.

anyone see the "cigar art" in the new CA? they've gotten way crazier than this...I wonder what a football or baseball bat tastes like...

Wouldn't the torcedors know exactly how to roll this?

It seems like they could roll it, but would be limited by Fuente to only make a handful.....

I am starting to grow tired of limited production cigars. The End

Great pic by the way...Slim

I have one of the pipe-shaped cigars at home. If I get around to it, I'll post a pic. I got it at a cigar event. A roller from cuba made it right in front of me. They were supposed to auction it off along with a baseball-bat shaped one, but he pulled me aside and gifted the pipe-shaped one to me. Great guy.

I'm sorry but IF it WASN'T a gift I would let that baby go for $750.00 if it was mine. That gift thing though makes me hang on to all kinds of stuff. I love to get gifts, which got me the stinky eye whenI got home today. 4 boxes from UPS for me ......:)

is this different than Fuente's Hemingway Between the lInes? Hemingway BTL's are much shorter and a more pronounced perfecto shape and only have one color variation (natural and maduro) whereas in this one I can see three. This looks almost like they rolled a classic or masterpiece BTL style.

... this is the 'In Between The Lines', and yes it is different ...

... very different!

It was never meant to be a 'production' line cigar, and I don't know for sure the details of 'why' it was made.

What I do know, is only 20 were made.

I picked up the most recent Cigar Aficionado while traveling last week. There's a small article on the art of cigar making that includes pictures of several very special Fuente cigars. Some have as many as 5 different wrapper leafs. They don't make them for retail and chances are you'll never see one in person.

I spoke with someone who took a trip to the Fuente factory and he said they had some displayed there.
