Sorry BeatDragon, I still prefer women ala my lovely wife. { =^ )

No, I'm referring to the Climmax solution (sounds like a pretty good movie for E-Chick to check out). Got a # from SteveS awhile back well after I had my 5-50/50 credos dialed in perfectly.

Filled my 3 1"D X 2 1/2"Dia. desktop credos. The rest I split between my Coolidor and my Tupper. Worked out to be just about perfect for their respected cubic footage.

Started working right away. Of course my humis were already acclimated. It's been 5 days or so and they remain steady.

So far, so good.

I just made the switch as well.... It took a few days to bring everything into balance. I had to add a shot glass of water so that they had a source to draw on. After that 70% dead on for four days now. I replaced every bit of foam I was using. It's VERY dry out here and I think my Humidors were thristy for a few a while before I switched.

Well, I've been having a tad of trouble keeping my sweaterboxadore stable, I may be pushing my cigar oasis, but I may just need to add water, which I'm about to do.

If someone was to order *quantity* then I'm sure you could trade around and make a lot of people happy...

I for one would jump at the opportunity to send you some cigars if you'd send me enough beads for my humidor. I bet there are lots of others who would love to do the same.

I just ordered some a couple days ago too. I hope that a pound is enough for all my various humidors and tupperdors. I got the 65% though.

Seems hard to me to get a straight answer from them on how much you need. I know they list "good for xx cubic feet" but I have no idea how many cubic my humidor is.

Can anyone offer help in this direction? 1 pound is said to be good for 5 cubic feet. My guess is that 5 cubic feet is about the size of a regular cooler. Is that about right?

Thanks!

I think a regular cooler is about 2.5 cubic feet. I'm not a 100% on that But I think I read that in a thread a while ago when I was researching the stuff. Just pick up a pound and see what works. It's really easy. I still have probably a half pound left.

ajeroth is correct, roughly.

Take the L, W, D measurements in inches. Divide each one by 12. Then multiply all 3.

Ex. My cooler

22"/12=1.83
13.5"/12=1.13
13"/12=1.08

1.83 X 1.13 X 1.08 = 2.24 cubic feet

Both my cooler and Tupper were a little under 2.5' so I had some left for my desktops.
