I'm ... a little afraid of Cbid because the temptation is too large. Came here and bade once, and ... got into a minor fight with my bank account when I saw the total price 😛. You know how it can be, right?

Yes --- patience.
And when you do find a bargain or two, look for one or two (three or four?) more during the same week to defray the shipping costs. (Make sure you pick weekly shipping from CBID.)

I'm a patient guy, so that's not a problem. The only problem is ... your recommendation. I did that on my first bid here, and what happened was "Oh, I've got 2 items, now I've gotta get more to lower the cost". And I ended up with 5 boxes of cigars...... That's when I got scared...

yup, that's the way it happens, you go to save a bit on shipping, and the next thing you know, you're paneling your living room in spanish cedar!

LOL... that's how I ended up with coolers stacked on top of coolers. Thinking of getting a cabinet soon.

Welcome and the answer is no, that is what e-mail is for. At least you asked before doing it, hats off for that. Just as a side note, I am the only sane one here, all the other people are nuts. So go ahead and bid freely, panel the living room and find a good divorce lawyer but most of all have fun.
