I went down to my local shop where they had gotten in several boxes of Tributes. I was out running errands, so I bought on to have later, as well as some other sticks. I had my two dogs in the car while I was in and out of stores. My last stop, I was gone a little longer than I hoped as I wasn't able to find what I needed.

Anyway, I got back to the car and put my purchases in the back... and I see it... my Tribute Torp partially chewed... then the La Aroma de Cuba with the cap bitten off (at least it was the right end)... then the two Trilogy Ovations that were just samples and had just a few teeth holes. With both dogs there, I couldn't know which one did it, nor did I see it happen, so I coulnd't discipline then... but man I was pissed.

Of course, it was the most the most expensive stick, the Tribute, that had the most damage. I tried to patch it up as best I could and I did smoke it... but it wasn't the same...

GB I have a pair of dogs as well that will get into things every once in awhile. I want to tip my hat to you for your obvious attention to proper pet care and training. If you don't catch them in the act you can't discipline them no matter how pissed you are. You obviously care a great deal about your dogs.

Sorry for your loss.

I can relate in a way. When I was younger, my buddy and I had a chuck of that stuff what rhymes with cash. We hid it in an incense burner, and when we got back, the cat had gotten to it and eaten it. First thing that went through my mind was that bit where cheech and chong were smoking doberman. 2nd thing was some nice juicy cat-keebobs.

I'll spare you the dog-rocket jokes.

Let me see if I got this correct....

The cigar was in your dog(s) mouth, you patched it back up, and still smoked it????????

That is serious dedication. Dare I guess that the "flavor profile" of the cigar was a little different?

"the wrapper had a TRULY toothy texture, and this cigar gave off the light aroma of kibbles 'n bits with hints of milk bone..."
