Want to test your IQ - try the question below:

There is a mute who wants to buy a toothbrush.

Imitating the action of brushing one's teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done.

Now if there is a blind man who wishes to buy a pair of

sunglasses, how should he best express himself?

Think about this before you scroll down for the answer.

Think hard now!

He just has to open his mouth and ask!

If you got this wrong, please go dig a hole and hide in shame!

That is assuming that the seller and the blind man speak the same language.

I come out at 136 on emode every time. I don't know if it's accurate, but it is consistent.

I just took the test and got 142. But IQ tests don't mean much. Sometimes it just means you know how to take a test. Many of the genuises I've meet would fail miserably on test like these.

I generally overthink questions like this.

IQ test's are fun but ultimately meaningless, of course I believe that applies to grading in general so waht do I know.

LOL it was just a joke!!! really! 🙂

in college, our stats of psych class had to take a formal IQ test. i got a 158. wheeee! but i can't preach enough that IQ tests -- ANY of them -- mean jack squat. first off, there are many types of intelligence that we're only beginning to understand -- musical, physical, kinesthetic intelligence, etc.

and then there's the fact that an IQ test measures how many correct answers you can get on a test that someone designed -- but getting the questions right does not exactly = intelligence.

anyone ever seen a culturally biased test -- i.e., one biased AGAINST white middle-class folks? i took one and got something in the range of "functional idiot." lol

Robby, a while back I took that free E-Mode test and I paid the $20 to have 30 day access to all of their other tests and evaluations. It turns out that I am one wonderful guy,(except for a slight predisposition to axe murder), according to E-Mode. I imagine that they think anyone who gives them $20 is pretty wonderful.
