hey, folks --
i just wanted to drop a line here to give props to EVERY ONE OF YOU who have helped this newbie in any way, shape or form. i've been amazed at the generosity shown by the BOTLs here in terms of advice, tips, sharing of know-how, etc. that alone has been so incredibly kind.
above and beyond that, though, i have participated in a few trades -- often that seem more like outright bombs than trades! some of you have also sent me cigars "no strings attached," just outright generous gifts of cigars that you thought i'd like or should try. "just coz."
i wanted to take a minute and just pay my respects to you BOTLs who have given SO MUCH to me and other guys who are new to the leaf. some of you who have bombed the living hell out of me were ALSO newbies.
you're an amazing group of people, and i cannot thank you enough. i want to try, though. i write down the name, handle, address, etc. of everyone who sends anything my way -- be it from a trade, a PIF, a bomb or whatever. you're all aware by now i'm sure of my health situation and budget constraints. but do also know that your deeds will not be forgotten, and as ability allows i'm checking names off that list when i send out a little something back at'cha.
in the meantime, if there is ever ANYTHING i can do for you, cigar-related or not, please don't hesitate to let me know. if you need someone to vouch for you, if you want a cigar journal template, if you want a cd made, if you want a place to stay while vacationing in SE north carolina -- anything i can do, i'm glad to do it.
