Here is a good one for you Stogie Vets...on full boxes of cigars, do you keep them full and then unload it to your trays when you need more smokes available, or do you take a few here and there but keep the box in your humi?

probably get lots of answers. I do both. I keep the boxes around 65 and transfer some smokes up to a humi that is at 68 or so. Some smokes always stay in the box. Some folks store long term at 70 then move to drier.

I Buy, at least one box, of cigars a week. From that box, I allow myself one cigar, I put the rest of the box, to sleep, at 70%. My on deck humidor, I keep at 65%. I supplement my smoking gars, with 5pack purchases, that go directly into my ondeck humidor. After a year of this, I am finally able to smoke some well aged sticks. LOL Good thing I'm single, I couldn't afford this if I were married. LOL

LOL @ Alby.

I buy about a box a week, and put them into the 70% coolidor. I take 15 cello's off, of a 25-count box, and let them rest. I figure the ten that still have cello, I will use in trades. I never keep the same brand of cigars in 2 different places. My cigars are on a short-leash.

I have never put somuch thought on 'gars. I just put them in the humi untill i open it and i decide what to smoke for that day. i have some that have been sitting for awhile. Just because i have gotten others in that i really wanted to try.

But it sounds like i might need some kinda degree, or some advanced education, to figure out some of these other methods.
