Born and raised here......cept for the five years i took off and traveled with the carnival........and no i wasn't a clown ! hehe
i loved it too ! traveled all along the east coast up into Canada and down to the bahamas ( boss took us over for a special fair there ) . as far west as Corpus Christy ,Tx. and a diagnal trip back through misery ( that's what we called it ) the show me state ......didn't show me much and back on up towards wisconsin......cheeseheads eh? you bet ! had a good time in wisconsin !!! Canada was the best part....just Beautiful !!!! Ottawa , Canada ! was huge from what little town i had come from , but it was a beautiful city !
sorry to say this but " ya-all can keep New York " , went to Yonkers New York for 2 weeks.......no fun at all !!! i prefer the midwest here ! us countryfied rednecks are a simple breed .... so i'll stay put here ! never been to the west coast but i like "green" living things instead of brown living things (trees)......it just seemed that as we headed west it started to be brown and alive.......i like green forest instead of brown desert...ya know? 🙂

i'm about 50 miles south of the Indy 500......which i refer now as "The Brickyard 400". i used to watch the Indy 500 , but i'm much better now ! Indycar screwed up by splitting into Indycar and Indy Racing League !
So the heck with them ....i prefer Nascar anyways !

Funny thing is I met Goober (George Lindsay) at LAX years ago, my Grandmother almost passed out from the exitement of meeting a (Big) star.
