Wow ... this one can be difficult.

The 'black line' on the bottom of the band is the 'Gran Reserva', wihch includes many different lines ...

The 'green line' on the bottom of the band are usually the lower priced lines ...

The 'white line' is the Anejo ...

And then we go into all the colored ribbons on the foot ... black (and red in the case of the 858 Rosado)signifying sun-grown, but the Anejo Xtra Viejo and Shark also have red ribbons on the foot ...

... maybe someone else has an easier way to explain them all.

WAAAAAYYYY too complicated... Hemingway has black, Don Carlos has black...Chateau has green with cedar AND black with cedar... etc.

black = Sun grown
red = rosado at least on the 858 and Opus(I think)on the anejos it is red also
green = ??? I have seen maddies and nats with green.

I really wish they differentiated the smokes. The DC looks just like a hemi band wise.

fudge --- I didn't remeber that the 'green' ones were Gran Reserva too ...
