Okay, we've got to win some of our 'gars back from RDK. I'm thinking, lets' do this one more week, and take a couple of weeks off for everyone to have a chance to restock (& give RDK a chance to smoke all his). If anyone is new and wants to give it a chance, check out the previous Nascar threads for the rules. I just want to reiterate one change though: The qualifying positions will be grouped in 10's, with each player getting a random draw from each. So, every player will have a driver from 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, and 31-40 starting positions. That should help equalize the field.

Okay, I've heard from 9 players. I haven't heard from Clive. Clive are you in? If so, I'll sit out, because I want everyone to have a chance to play. If Clive sits out, I'll be number 10. Liz is gonna pull the numbers, and she'll get 43rd starting spot.

Remember the new rule: each player will receive, through a random draw, a qualifying position from each of the four groups: 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, and 31-40. Liz will draw these on Thursday, and then qualifying on Friday will determine who gets which driver. #41 and 42 will be unassigned. Thanks to Cigartaster for the new rule suggestion.

ok I am packing up mine to ship as soon as we find out who wins. (How the heack did Cope qualify 5th) ouch

qualifying don't mean jack most of the time LOL - doesn't take long for those that can qualify well to start dropping back. Always thought that was odd how some can qualify at certain tracks really well, but when it came to racing they would fall back quickly. guess it's just the way racing is sometimes.
